Oops, this post is a little out of order because on June 3rd Wes went on his first fishing trip! He has been wanting to go on Uncle Kevin's boat for a while now, so Wes called him up (with the help of Mike) and kindly asked to be taken on a boat ride. Luckily Uncle Kevin doesn't need much convincing to take out the boat, so after church (and a quick stop at Wal-Mart for a pint sized fishing pole) the boys headed out for the open ocean. (and then back into the harbor because it was really windy!)

Wes had some serious first timer's luck, because on his first fishing trip, the first time using his fishing pole and on his first cast he caught a fish!! Unfortunately he didn't catch anything else the rest of the day. But like they always say, "if fishing was easy, they'd call it catching."
