Goodbye Elden Ave

12/18 - On the Morning of December 18th, we did our final walk through as the owners of 2442 Elden Ave. #B7.  It was really hard to say goodbye to our first home.  Wes of course loved it being empty so he could run around like a crazy man.  I love these pictures...

...but I prefer to remember it like this.

Goodbye little house, we still miss you but know that God has bigger and better for us and that you are meant to bless the next owners too.

Afternoon at Sport Chalet

12/15 - These pictures don't look like a typical day at Sport Chalet, but my friend Tanya who worked there invited us to this event they were having in the parking lot.  If was the first time they did this and it was awesome...and all free!  They obviously had pony rides (Cora's first time) as well as games (we won a couple of Sport Chalet gift cards, a beanie and stuff like that) and a fun picture booth where we dressed up like skiers and they made our picture look like it was on the cover of a sports magazine.  And they also gave us a free and very delicious lunch, see the last picture below.  Such a fun afternoon!

Seeing Santa with the Rauschs

12/14 - We went to the Mission Viejo Mall with the Rausch family to visit Santa and tell him all our Christmas wish lists.

REALLY enjoying the candy cane from Santa!
 Such adorable Christmas cuties!
 Dinner at Ruby's

And after dinner we wrote Santa some letters (or just scribbled some pictures) and mailed them to him at the North Pole.

Cora and Wes

Just my kiddos :)

Traditions

A few of our fun Christmas Traditions:

Finding treats in the awesome advent calendar Grammy made.

Listening to the Donald Duck quack Christmas carols in this fabulous Disney Christmas village.

And of course making Christmas cookies with Gram.

Tinseltown

Ok, not tinsel so much as ornaments.  But we had fun putting some of our ornaments and some of Grammy's up on the tree this year.

O Christmas Tree

12/9 - Time to search for the perfect Christmas Tree at Home Depot!

Family Picture Reality
 Family Picture Posterity

Following our tradition of picking a tree that is still wrapped up.

It's going to be a good one!

Grandpa and Dad getting the saw ready...
...Wes and Dad getting the tree stand set up...
...Wes trying to tie up his sister...
...the guys leveling out the tree...
...and finally, TA DA!!!
Told you it would be a good one!
