Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Michael's birthday by going to the Strawberry Farm's Pumpkin patch. Do you think I might have had something to do with that plan!?!?

At first Wes picked this pumpkin, it was even still attached to the vine,

Then Michael picked this one,

But Wes decided those were too small and settled on this one!

You know how much Wes loves corn on the cob, well on our way out, he made a bee line for the Indian Corn. Before we could stop him he was trying to take a big bite!

We ended up with just this perfectly sized little pumpkin!

And Wes loves everything pumpkin just as much as I do, so it was pretty hard to convince him that he couldn't eat it right then and there. I did make him some pumpkin muffins a couple days later though.

Gotta love farm equipment!

That evening Grandpa Al, Auntie Caitlin and Auntie Madison came to have dinner with us. We went to Moreno's, our tied-for-favorite Mexican restaurant in Orange. (Mi Casa in Costa Mesa is our other favorite)

Wes decided he needed all the wishes out of this fountain and got himself all wet collecting pennies. He didn't want to toss in any pennies of his own, he just wanted the ones that were already in there.
