For our 4th of July festivities this year, we headed to Yorba Linda and the Bento's house to join their annual 4th party. We weren't able to go last year because Mike was sick but everyone was well this year, so it was fun to spend time with our fire family and catch up with everyone.
The Bento's have an amazing house and backyard including an outdoor kitchen, pool, horseshoe pit, dog run and big grassy area. So much fun!
The taco cart guy was there grilling up delicious tacos and everyone brought a side dish, appetizer or dessert to share.

Once it got dark, we headed out into the cul-de-sac to watch fireworks. The community show was one of the best I've ever seen and Wes loved it! Cora was pretty enthralled too, though they were both exhausted from the busy day and content to be mellow for a while.
What an awesome Fourth of July! A huge thank you to the Bento's for their hospitality and all of our fire department friends for the fun day!
