Our bizarre weather has continued here in Orange County with a couple of days in the high 90's. So we decided to take advantage and break in Wes' new bike seat that I bought practically brand new at a garage sale. Mike picked up a tiny bike helmet on his way home from work then we packed up and headed down to the beach.
He absolutely loved the bike seat. He wasn't a big fan of the helmet at first, but once we started riding, he forgot all about it!
We rode to a deli in Balboa and picked up some sandwhiches and then rode down to the Wedge and had a picnic lunch.
It was hot, but it was a beautiful day.
On the way back through Balboa we stopped and had a frozen banana. This is one of our favorite treats, and with how much Wes loves bananas, we knew he'd love it too!
And we were right, after the first bite, he wasn't interested in sharing anymore!
