The weather was beautiful on Thursday so we rode our bikes with Wes in the trailer down to Mutt Lynch's in Newport for lunch. Mutt's has always been one of our favorite places for lunch and we felt Wes was finally big enough to enjoy it too. Though a scene from the movie Sweet Home Alabama keep running through my mind, the one where Reese Witherspoon's character is in a bar and sees her old friend holding her baby and says, "You have a baby...in a bar." Oh well, I do have to say they have the cleanest, read: least used, highchairs of any restaurant we've been too!!
We rode from Mutts to Balboa peninsula and then took the ferry over to the island and then rode home.
We're really glad we bought this trailer, we're having a lot of fun with it!
