Crawling!

Over the last two weeks, Wes has perfected the art of 'worm crawling'. It looks a little funny, but boy, does it get him where he wants to go! It has opened up a whole new world of exploration for him and made me realize how much work it is to 'baby proof' my home!

The Wesley Alan Ab Workout

If you're looking for an Ab busting workout, try this one! (I'm serious, it burns!)

Lay on your back, lift your head and engage your abs, then lift your legs and kick, kick, kick!

I tried it, it's not easy and if I did it as often as Wes does, I might have my pre-pregnancy belly back :)

You can almost see a little baby six pack :)

6 Months!

Half a year has gone by really fast!

Wes is growing so quickly, and we are so blessed to see him learn and develop, it's just amazing!

A Trip to Denver!

My mom and my Grandma and I went to Denver for the weekend to go to my mom's friend Kyra's baby shower! I am such the little traveller!

January 9th and 10th

The flight left at 6:45am, so I look grumpy, but I was just sleepy :)

I played with Kyra and Jeff and gave them a glimpse of how much their lives were going to change...for the better!!!

Their cat's name is Michael, isn't that funny :)

The weather was cool, but beautiful.

But my mom made me wear this super warm hat she got me anyway.

My mom and Kyra have been friends since they met at Flight Attendant training in 2000. And my mom and Kyra met Amy in 2001 and they all lived together in San Francisco for several years, flying around the world. Boy are things different now!!!

Visit to Daddy's Fire Station

We've been trying to plan a trip to Mike's fire station for all the kids since before Wesley was born! We finally found a day that everyone could make it! And the kids had an awesome time checking out all the fun things to see and do at the fire house!

Anchors Aweigh!

I finally got to ride on my friend Cody's boat! Ok it's his daddy and Poppy's boat, but I had so much fun!! Daddy was bummed he missed my first boat trip, but he had to work. We were looking for whales, but we got to see lots of dolphins instead. Next time I hope I can try to catch a fish!
